Lamar University football will play an 11-game schedule in 2023 highlighted by six home dates, and non-conference games against Idaho, UL Monroe and South Dakota.
After dropping the doubles point, LU’s women’s tennis team rallied to win four of the next six matches to defeat former conference rival Sam Houston, 4-3, on Jan.
Both men’s and women’s basketball teams were defeated Jan. 14 by Texas A&M-Commerce. The men (5-13, 1-4) fell 81-66 and the women (8-8, 2-3) lost, 57-52.
