'The Simon & Garfunkel Story' to take the Lutcher stage Feb. 2

Now seen in 50 countries worldwide, “The Simon & Garfunkel Story” is a critically acclaimed concert style theatre show about two young boys from Queens, New York who went on to become the world’s most successful music duo of all time.

The show will play the Lutcher Theater on Thursday, Feb. 2, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $35-$60 and can be purchased online at lutcher.org or by calling (409) 886-5535.

Using state of the art video projection, incredible lighting and a full live band, “The Simon & Garfunkel Story” is a moving and powerful concert featuring all the hits such as “Mrs. Robinson,” “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” “Homeward Bound,” “Scarborough Fair,” “The Boxer,” “The Sound of Silence” and many more.

The duo of singer-songwriter Paul Simon and singer Art Garfunkel were one of the best-selling musical groups of the 1960s. They met in elementary school in 1953 and went on to win seven Grammy Awards and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990. With more than 100 million records sold, Simon & Garfunkel are known as one of the “greatest musical duos of all-time.”
