Cable, internet company preps for worst as storm approaches

Spectrum sent out word to its customers in Southeast Texas late Thursday, June 17, warning of potential outages due to a storm expected to make landfall over the weekend.

“Recent forecasts indicate severe weather may impact your area,” communication from the communications company read. “As a result, we're preparing for Spectrum service outages. If you lose power, please contact your local power provider.”
