A man who posted a video of himself licking ice cream from a container of Blue Bell at a Southeast Texas Walmart has been charged and jailed for criminal mischief.

D’Adrien Anderson, 24, of Port Arthur, was booked into the Jefferson County Jail at 10 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, where he remained as of lunchtime Friday.

According to information from the Port Arthur Police Department, detectives had submitted a case for Class A Criminal Mischief to the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office on Aug. 22.

Judge Raquel West sentenced Kirt Vavasseur, 32, to 15 years in prison for committing second-degree felony online solicitation of a minor. Vavasseur was also sentenced concurrently to 10 years in the Institutional Division in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice on three other charges of online solicitation related to the same investigation.

Damarcus Deshun McGhee, 21, was sentenced to 40 years in prison Jan. 5 by Judge John Stevens.

McGhee pled guilty Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018, to the murder of 26 year old James Jones III, which occurred on January 17, 2017.

State District Judge Larry Gist of the Drug Impact Court of Jefferson County accepted a jury verdict Nov. 15, sentencing Nicholas Roy Morris, 28, to six years in prison, Criminal District Attorney Bob Wortham announced.
