Local baseball teams succeed in tournament play

The 10U Piranhas finished the season strong playing up two divisions to finish fourth in the Beaumont World Series held last week at Ford Fields. Earlier this summer, the Piranhas won the Silver Division in Destin, Florida.

A senior on LU’s 2023 squad, Quinn Waterhouse signed a free agent contract with the Ogden Raptors of the Pioneer League. At 6-4, 210 pounds, Waterhouse transferred to Lamar for his final season of collegiate eligibility.
